O festival acontece em um prado chamado "Grosse Allmend" em Frauenfeld. Frauenfeld é a capital do cantão de Thurgau.

A viagem

A maioria das pessoas viaja de trem para o festival. A exibição de um bilhete para o festival na companhia ferroviária suíça lhe dará direito a uma redução no preço do bilhete. Há também estacionamento limitado perto do festival reservado para os participantes do festival, que geralmente é lotado rapidamente, mas, no entanto, há para as pessoas que preferem assistir de carro.

Ingressos

Os bilhetes são vendidos no site oficial do Openair Frauenfeld ou em diferentes plataformas suíças de venda de bilhetes.

Já em dezembro do ano anterior, pode-se adquirir bilhetes para "early bird" e "springbreak". Estes ingressos permitem acessar a área de acampamento um dia antes. Há apenas um número limitado de tais ingressos. Os ingressos padrão podem ser comprados no final do ano. Crianças menores de dezesseis anos precisam de permissão dos pais para participar do festival, a qual é validada com um documento de permissão assinado.
